In addition to his duties with CBS 11 News and TXA 21 News, Babe hosts the half-hour Sunday night show "The Score With Babe Laufenberg," as well as "Cowboys Huddle With Wade Phillips," which is syndicated throughout the southwest. Babe is also the analyst for the Dallas Cowboys Radio Network (the largest in the NFL). He has twice been selected as the "Sportscaster of the Year" for the state of Texas by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.
Babe still holds numerous season and career passing records at his alma mater, and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in 1983. He played eight years as quarterback in the NFL and has played for Hall of Fame coaches Bill Walsh and Joe Gibbs. He also played two years for Jimmy Johnson with the Dallas Cowboys.
