Chris Salcedo
Chris joined CBS 11 and TXA 21 after seven years at San Diego's local FOX television station, where he served as a weather and traffic anchor and filled in as a morning show host.
Originally from San Diego, California, Chris holds a bachelor's degree from San Diego State University. While still in college, he began his broadcasting career as a radio disc jockey and traffic reporter. Chris periodically appears on Dallas/Fort Worth radio as a fill-in talk show host on sister CBS Radio station KRLD NewsRadio 1080.
Chris and his wife are the parents of three girls, who are the loves of their lives. In his spare time, Chris enjoys outdoors activities including fishing, camping, four-wheeling and watersports. In addition, he is an active supporter of several non-profit causes including Autism Speaks, United Cerebral Palsy and the Salvation Army.
