David Hershey
Vice President Of Creative Services David Hershey oversees the marketing, promotion and graphic design for both CBS 11 and TXA 21.
He first joined our team in 2003 as Creative Services Director and rejoined the stations in 2008 after serving as vice president of creative for a Los Angeles-based promotional company. David has also lead the creative efforts for WJLA-TV (ABC) in Washington, D.C., KATV-TV (ABC) in Little Rock, Ark. and KAIT-TV (ABC) in Jonesboro, Ark. He has received numerous honors throughout his career including 13 regional EMMY Awards, an Eye on Excellence Award from the CBS Television Network and several Alpha Awards from the ABC Television Network.
A native of Baltimore, David holds a radio/television degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. He and his wife Lori also have two beautiful little girls, Hannah and DJ.
The Hersheys are also classic car buffs. They love driving their classic '68 Mustang and 1979 Trans Am to local car shows. Plus, their 1977 "Bandit" Trans-Am has won several "best of show" trophies and has been featured in a major motion picture.
