Doug Dunbar
Doug is co-anchor of CBS 11 News at 4, 6, and 10pm. He is an Emmy award winning anchor and reporter and part of the CBS 11 team which received a coveted Edward R. Murrow Award.
From Cuba, to Haiti, to points around the United States, Doug has gone on the road to cover many of the major stories of our time over the last 15 years. Doug and his family settled in North Texas in 2004, and he says, "It took us a while to get here, but we finally made it!"
As a former National Champion barefoot water skier, you'll often find Doug out on Lake Grapevine right when the sun comes up, still getting in a set before the Texas breezes rough up the water.
Doug is also an accomplished pilot, holding Private, Multi and Instrument ratings, and one of the few civilians who've ever had to chance to fly both the F-16, and the FA-18.
At home, Doug is married to wife Camie, and they are always working to corral their son and daughter! Madison loves horses and Kenny Chesney, and Brayden is being groomed to start at Middle Linebacker for your Dallas Cowboys!
