Kenneth Taylor
Kenneth Taylor joined the TXA 21 and CBS 11 News Team from Los Angeles, where he was an anchor for the News Mix Channel on DirecTV.
Prior to that, he was a "fill-in host" for E! Entertainment Television's "E! News Daily." He also served in a variety of roles for the TV Guide Channel, as co-host of "The Screening Room" with Debbie Matenopoulos and as host of "The Big Movie Guide" and "What's On" on the TV Guide Channel. In addition, Kenneth was the TV Guide Channel's senior celebrity interviewer, which afforded him the opportunity to speak with Meryl Streep, Harrison Ford, Robert DeNiro, Denzel Washington, Tom Cruise and Sidney Poitier, just to name a few.
In his spare time, Kenneth enjoys playing the piano, tennis, and reading. He also has a wide and varied appreciation of music, with a special love of jazz, classical and R&B.
Kenneth is a strong advocate for the Boys & Girls Clubs, as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters, two organizations he believes make as positive an impact on the lives of children and teenagers today, as they did on his life.
He holds a bachelor of arts degree in English from The Ohio State University. In college, he began his career in radio as an entertainment editor and disc jockey and later worked at various radio stations in Los Angeles.
