Steve Dennis
Sports Reporter Steve Dennis is a passionate Ohio State Buckeye football fan. He graduated from Ohio State University in 1982 with a degree in broadcast journalism, and began his career at KSNF-16 in Joplin, Missouri.
Steve was promoted within the Kansas State network to KSNW-3, an NBC affiliate in Wichita, Kansas. He worked there as sports director from June 1985 until June 1994. He did a sports talk radio show and freelanced at ABC affiliate KAKE-TV in Wichita. Steve did play-by-play for the Kansas Jayhawk basketball team, the Kansas State Wildcat basketball and football teams, and the Wichita Wings indoor soccer team. Steve played golf, baseball and basketball in high school. He tried to play golf in college, but "failed miserably."
Steve's father was a life-long air force pilot who earned the Purple Heart in Vietnam. Steve's mother passed away in 1981.
Steve married his high school sweetheart, Cathy Lynn Corrado. They celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in 2002.
