Marianne Martinez
Marianne Martinez joined the CBS 11 and TXA 21 news team in August 2008. After having lived all over the country, Marianne is thrilled to call North Texas home.
Prior to coming to North Texas, Marianne worked as a reporter at KDVR, the FOX station in Denver. She also worked in Tucson, Arizona and Palm Springs, Calif.
Marianne earned a degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri. She also spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain.
Marianne is originally from Villa Park, Ill., a suburb of Chicago. Her parents, brother, sister and extended family still live in the area, and she tries to visit as much as possible.
Marianne lives in Dallas with her husband and two dogs: a golden retriever named Wrigley and a Cavalier King Charles spaniel named Winston. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling and exploring North Texas.
