Oncor Customers To Get Refund
DALLAS (AP) ―
Oncor says it will refund about $72 million this fall to residential customers who have gotten power from the company since December.
Oncor, the electric delivery arm of Energy Future Holdings Corp., said Tuesday that eligible customers should get their credit -- about $12.58 each -- on the September electric bills.
To qualify for the refund, customers must also still be served at the same location by a retail electrical provider that agrees to pass on the refund.
If retail electric providers don't agree to pass the credit on to consumers, they won't get the money.
Oncor says that the agreement to pass on the credit was made as part of Oncor's merger review filing.
