Former NH High School Coach Arrested In Texas
NASHUA, N.H. (AP) ―
Police arrested a former New Hampshire high school boys soccer and wrestling coach at a Texas home on multiple counts of sexually assaulting two teenage boys.
Police say 31-year-old Michael Palmer was due back in New Hampshire later Friday. He's to be arraigned Monday on 90 counts of misdemeanor sexual assault and one count of criminal threatening.
Police started investigating Palmer, former coach at Alvirne High School in Hudson, last month on allegations that he assaulted the 15- and 16-year-old Alvirne students last year at his home in Nashua and at the home of one of the boys in Hudson.
Police Lt. Jeffrey Bukunt says Palmer's employment was terminated in May. He was staying with family in Wichita Falls, Texas, where he was arrested Tuesday.
