Southlake Carroll Fans Camp Out For Tickets
GRAPEVINE (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ―
High school football fans camped out of Carroll ISD's administration building Monday night and sacrificed hours of sleep to get first dibs on Southlake Carroll High School's football season tickets, which went on sale this morning.
Sean Wayton, a parent, waited in line with the rest of the Dragon fans.
"The rule of thumb here is you have to start early," he said.
Wayton admitted he is confident he will get the season tickets after waiting for three years.
One of his sons will be attending the school as a freshman and the other will be a sixth grader. Both of them have been playing football since third grade, Wayton added.
Dragon season tickets have been sold to as much as $600 in past seasons.
