29 Starbucks Stores To Close In North Texas

Of 600 To Shutter, About One-Tenth Will Be In Lone Star State

(CBS 11 News)

Nearly 30 North Texas Starbucks locations will close by the end of the month as part of the company's attempt to restructure.

The news of closures was announced on July 1, but the list of stores which will close was not made public until last week.

On July 18, the company released a complete list of store closures. 57 Texas stores will close; 29 are in North Texas.

Just last week, the company unveiled a protein-laden chilled drink called Vivanno™.

Starbucks officials said they waited to release the list to allow time to contact employees and offer employment at other locations.
