New Collin Co. Shopping Center Already Expanding
FAIRVIEW (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ―
The slow economy is not a problem for a shopping center in the town of Fairview,
according to the Dallas Business Journal.
The Village at Fairview is adding nearly three dozen new stores.
The shopping center opened in October of last year and has a Macy's and a JCPenney, among other stores .
This second stage of the development will open in March.
The center's plans include offices, apartments and hotel space in addition to the retail.
Fairview, in Collin County near Allen, has seen its population more than double since 2000.
