You may have a list and you've counted up your holiday cash, but the National Retail Federation notes with a struggling economy, consumers aren't rushing to pack their shopping bags.
"I'm definitely trying to spend less this year," one shopper admits.
"It's all family this holiday. It's those who matter the most," another adds.

National Retail Federation says they expect holiday sales to increase 2.2 percent, which is only half of the 10-year average of 4.4 percent growth.
Shopping expert Jenn Falik says those who think outside the gift box can still nab fabulous finds without breaking the bank.
Falik says she looked for gifts that were useful and unique. For the little ones, she found
