Fort Worth Adds 9 More Red Light Cameras

(CBS 11 News) Fort Worth crews will install red light cameras at nine locations soon.

The new locations will be at the following intersections:
• Northwest 25th Street and Clinton Avenue
• Northeast 28th Street and Decatur Avenue
• Western Center Boulevard and I-35
• South Hulen Street and Overton Ridge Boulevard
• Trail Lake Drive and Southwest Loop 820 Service Road
• Alta Mere Drive and Calmont Avenue
• Beach Street and Scott Avenue
• East Rosedale Street and South Handley Drive
• West Weatherford Street and Houston Street.

If drivers run red lights at any of the monitored intersections, they will receive a citation in the main.

Beginning Oct. 1, fines will be $75, plus a $25 late fee for vehicle owners who do not pay within 30 days.

Existing cameras are located at the following locations:
• Eastchase Parkway and Meadowbrook Boulevard
• East Long Avenue and Deen Road
• South Hulen Street and Bellaire Drive South
• McCart Avenue and Westcreek Drive
• Bryant Irvin Road and West Vickery Boulevard
• Eighth Avenue and Elizabeth Boulevard
• North Beach Street and Western Center Boulevard
• Lancaster and Riverside Drive
• Lancaster Avenue and Sandy Lane
