Titans Agree To Swap "Pacman" Jones To Dallas

IRVING (CBS 11 News) ― It seems the Tennessee Titans no longer wanted troubled cornerback "Pacman" Jones to be a part of their organization. Jones had expressed his desire to be traded to the Dallas Cowboys, and Wednesday it appears that everyone will get their wish.

The Cowboys reached an agreement with Tennessee to trade for the talented but temperamental cornerback.

Jones is currently still serving a suspension imposed by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and has yet to be reinstated. The commissioner has only said that he will review Jones' case sometime before training camp opens in late July.

Last month, Jones made it clear why he wanted to play for the Cowboys.

"I want to play in Dallas for several reasons. It's America's team. I love the City of Dallas," said Jones. "There's no where else I really want to play right now. This is where I want to be at."

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has shown a willingness to take on players with a criminal past, including last year when they added defensive lineman Terry "Tank" Johnson. It appears that they have now added one more player to that list.
