Professional football player Matt Lehr photographed with David Jacobs, a personal trainer who pleaded guilty to possessing and distributing anabolic steroids and human growth hormone.

CBS 11 has confirmed the identity of a former Dallas Cowboys player connected to a personal trainer involved in a federal steroids probe.
Matt Lehr plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is a former Dallas Cowboy and he also played for the Atlanta Falcons.
Tuesday, David Jacobs pleaded guilty to possessing and distributing anabolic steroids and human growth hormone. Lehr has been photographed with Jacobs, a personal trainer from Plano.
On the Web site for his supplement shop, Jacobs claimed he provided guidance to top U. S. athletes ranging from the Dallas Cowboys to the Atlanta Falcons. However, he refused to give the names of the players.
Last November, Lehr was suspended by the NFL for four games for violating the league's steroid and related substances policy.
Federal prosecutors aren't commenting on this story and won't say whether or not Lehr is under investigation.
As part of his agreement with prosecutors, Jacobs may only serve three years probation and may avoid prison.
The NFL said it will cooperate with federal investigators. The Cowboys and Falcons have said Jacobs has never worked for them.
