Plano Bodybuilder Sentenced For Steroids

SHERMAN (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― A convicted steroids dealer who says he sold steroids and human growth hormone to a former Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman was sentenced by a federal judge Thursday.



U.S. District Judge Richard Schell sentenced David Jacobs of Plano to three years' probation.


Jacobs pleaded guilty last year in federal court to conspiring to possess with intent to distribute anabolic steroids.



Jacobs has said he sold tens of thousands of dollars worth of performance-enhancing drugs to former Cowboy Matt Lehr in 2006 and 2007.

Lehr's attorney has denied the allegations.
