Fuel For Thought

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Michael meets Jana and Amber at the courthouse and assures them that he is hopeful that he will get the case against Jana and Daniel tossed out all together. They all wonder where Daniel is. Meanwhile, Kevin refuses to help Daniel steal evidence from the police, even to help Jana. Later, Amber points out to Michael that she thinks that everything that has happened to Daniel is somehow connected to her. Michael thinks Amber should inform Daniel about her past but she fears she'll lose him over it. The judge grants Jana bail but when it comes time for Daniel he is still nowhere to be found. Later, Daniel finally shows up just in time to hear the judge side with Heather and maintain his bail amount. Amber decides she needs to find out who is trying to set up Daniel on her own. At the courthouse, Kevin causes a distraction in order to steal Balfour's phone for Daniel from the Department of Defense.

At the campus house, Tyra catches Devon and Roxy in an awkward post-lovemaking position. Later, things are tense between Devon and Tyra when Tyra explains to Devon that she is considering moving in with Neil. At the coffeehouse, Roxy makes Devon realize that his anger towards Tyra makes no sense and is completely unfounded. Meanwhile, Neil confirms Devon's accusations when Tyra suggests that they move in together and he replies to her that he isn't ready for that and may never be.

Kay and Jill get into an argument over all the hurt and anger Jill has been feeling and Jill finally asks Kay why she hates her so much. Neil arrives during Jill and Kay's argument and realizes that there is something seriously wrong with Kay but Jill is too angry to see it. Meanwhile, Billy goes to see Mac to explain to her that he is finally giving up on trying to push them back together. As Billy is saying goodbye to Mac, Murphy calls out for help to Kay. Inside, Mac is calm and in control as she checks Kay out, realizing they need to get her to the hospital immediately. Jill fears that she caused Kay's ailment. At the hospital, Olivia is wary to confirm that Kay had a stroke but Billy and Mac are aware of the seriousness of the situation. Mac finds Billy at the chapel and overhears him asking God to make sure she has a good life without him. Meanwhile, Jill arrives at the hospital in time to hear Kay blame her for her medical state but Jill takes off before she can hear Kay take back everything. Mac admits to Billy that she loves him and that she wants to be with him and they fall into a passionate kiss.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

Damian's still upset with Dusty, for supposedly causing one of his boats to spill oil. Lily and Dusty meet some potential clients at Worldwide, but they are unable to secure them as investors when they discover the computer storing their presentation has been stolen. Damian is implicated. Dusty breaks into his hotel room and discovers the missing computer. Dusty and Damian fight in front of Lily and Meg. They refuse to set aside their differences and make peace. Meg can't put up with their constant bickering. Paul comforts her but unbeknownst to all, Paul's to blame.

Alison consoles Hunter after he discovers his mother has died. Casey discovers them acting close and tries to pull Alison away to talk. Alison refuses to listen to Casey, and Casey lashes out at her. Hunter defends Alison and Casey throws him against a wall. Alison demands Casey leave. At the hospital Alison discovers Margo's been shot and that she was wrong to have brushed Casey off. Unable to connect with Casey, Alison returns to comfort Hunter and they kiss.

Susan informs Emily that the eggs Larry found are not hers and warns her about trusting him. Emily assures her there must be an explanation and goes to confront Larry. Larry denies everything and says there must be some mistake. Emily' suspicious, especially after a conversation with Hunter about his mother's passing. Emily starts to put the pieces together and goes after Larry.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Brooke has an epiphany about her future with Ridge and makes the ultimate sacrifice. Brooke takes Taylor's hand and puts it in Ridge's. Steffy and Thomas get their hopes up that the current chain of events may lead to their family being reunited. Bridget is stunned when she runs into Owen on the beach and advises him to leave before Nick sees him and Jackie. Believing that Owen and Jackie are returning to the mainland that night, Bridget does her best to distract Nick, but more near-misses ensue.


GUIDING LIGHT

Natalia waits for the results of her pregnancy test. Olivia and Emma prepare to make the rice krispie treats. Olivia tells Emma to go upstairs and check on Natalia. Natalia panics when Emma asks what she's doing. Natalia shoves the pregnancy test in her purse without looking at it and comes out of the bathroom with a happy face. Olivia, Natalia, and Emma get caught up in the family fun baking project. Once she's alone, Natalia takes out the pregnancy test and sinks to the ground. Buzz notices how happy Olivia looks. Olivia admits to Doris that she's a little nervous about coming out at the BBQ, but she can't imagine her life without Natalia. Natalia admits to Blake that she's pregnant with Frank's baby. Natalia has blood taken by a doctor as Blake sits by her side. Natalia can't believe it when the doctor confirms she is pregnant and already a few months along. Natalia answers a call from Olivia. Olivia says she can't wait for all of them to walk into the BBQ together.

Reva adjusts the lantern in the window and looks at Jeffrey's wedding ring. Josh explains to Rick that he can't make it to the BBQ and is worried when he hears that Reva isn't coming either. Buzz is frustrated that his oven broke. Josh arrives as Buzz curses the broken oven. Reva rocks Colin and tries to stay strong while she waits for Jeffrey to come home. A delivery man brings in a brand new oven for Buzz from an anonymous donor. Buzz shows off his new stove to Frank and wonders who bought it. Buzz looks at the package sent for Coop.

Alan defends his actions towards James and assures Buzz he's teaching James to be a strong man. Meanwhile, Frank leads James off to be processed for a DUI and having an open container. Phillip gets a call from Frank about James' arrest and says he'll be right over. Phillip says he understands that James was just trying to get Phillip to notice him because Phillip used to want attention from Alan. Phillip wants to go to the BBQ with James. Alan announces he arranged for James's release. James can't deal with Phillip and Alan arguing so he takes off. Alan asks James to go with him on a trip to an island in the Caribbean. James gets a call from Beth and informs her about his trip with Alan. Phillip explains to Beth that he wants to spend time with James and says the summer may be all he has. Beth thinks the trip could be good for James.
