Guys, Dress to Impress Your Valentine

(Reminder: Valentine's Day is Feb. 14. It falls on a Saturday this year.)

Alright Guys, Valentine's Day is coming. Let me help you get ahead of the game with some ideas that will help you tweak your look for that big night.

I went to Austin Lorin and spoke with Austin, the co-owner of the store, and he clued me in on some really great tips.

1. Wear clothes that fit. The baggy look is out. The tailored look is in, so take the time to have your jeans hemmed to fit and your shirts tailored. Having your clothes tailored is really not that expensive and it will really give you the confidence to have a great time.

2. Make sure your clothes are pressed and looking crisp.

3. Casual sport jackets with denim are totally acceptable. If you are going out at night, choose darker denim and a T shirt or casual dress shirt.

4. Casual dress shirts should be worn un-tucked but not overly boxy.

5. Shoes. Chuck Taylor Converse are very fashionable and affordable. Check out the black or cream for a great neutral look.

6. On a budget? Can't afford a new pair of shoes? That's OK, just polish the ones you have.

Remember guys, girls just want to feel special. You do not have to have high-dollar clothes if you take the time to press the ones you have. They want to know you made the effort to look nice for them.

Flowers, chocolates or a gift card for a massage can also help punctuate your effort.

Remember: fashion is fun, even for men.
