The air is crisp and the holiday party invitations are arriving. You need that perfect holiday dress, and this year you need it to be for LESS. So I headed to Stein Mart to check out what was smart, sexy and affordable. I was pleasantly pleased with what I found.
First, I found a beautiful black ruffled dress for $49.99. Something to remember about ruffles, they can add width so if you are trying for a slimming dress this may not be for you. However, if you lack the curves you want, this may be perfect. Simple elegance paired with great rhinestone earnings by Robert Rose ($9.99) and black beaded shoes by Caparros ($39.99).
You are bound to have heads turn in a stunning ruby red chiffon dress for $49.99. The dress is perfect for that work holiday party because it portrays classy confidence. Now remember when going with a red dress, go with nude or no hose. If you are wearing open toed shoes, absolutely do not wear hose. This dress was paired with earrings by Birch Hill ($14.99) and the shoes are by Mootsie Tootsies ($39.99).
This next dress was one of my personal favorites. The direction of the black and white stripes are very slimming and could hide a wider hip. The fabric was so soft and really well lined at this price point ($49.99). You could take this dress from day to night with a flashy accessory and shoe change. This dress was paired with earrings by Robert Rose ($14.99) and shoes by Liz Claiborne, which are currently on sale for $49.99.
The fuchsia dress is fun and flirty ($49.99). Due to its bias cut it can hide larger hips or even give the illusion of fuller hips if you want them. I recommend this be the dress you wear to your friend's cocktail party or even a night on the town. This dress was paired with earrings by Birch Hill ($14.99) and shoes by Liz Claiborne, which are currently on sale for $49.99.
As always, remember fashion is fun. The holidays are fun. These fabulous dresses are affordable. When you put this all together you have affordable, fashionably fun holidays. Now say that three times.
