Looking for money-saving beauty products without leaving home? I have some great recipes that do the same as the expensive products.
A toothbrush and Vaseline used together can exfoliate and plump your lips.
Caffeine is the main ingredient in those expensive cellulite creams. Your caffeinated coffee grounds left over from the morning can be rubbed into those annoying cellulite pockets. It's best doing it in the shower.
Eye drops can remove red from blemishes. Freeze a drop in a spoon, place in the freezer over the blemish and hold. It will shrink the swelling.
Toothpaste (white) can heal and remove ache overnight.
Raw potato slices can take away some dark circles under the eyes (potatoes has potassium).
Anebesol will numb the brow area while plucking eyebrows.
Preparation H will relieve puffiness around the eyes and tighten the skin. Mix with moisturizer to mask the medicine smell.
Pepto-Bismol is a great face mask for sensitive skin. The same way it coats and soothes the stomach, it gently caresses the skin. Apply from the bottle with a cotton ball. Allow it dry and rinse with cool water. It also works for perspiration.
Sweet Almond Oil will moisture dry skin, help grow lashes, soothe sunburned skin and remove makeup.
Crisco Oil will remove makeup and moisture skin. It can even be used to treat psoriasis and eczema.
Mix a quarter cup of vodka with the juice of one lemon. Dab this on your face, neck and chest area with cotton. It's not necessary to rinse off. It will evaporate with the air. The less rubbing, the better. Mix with sugar and you have a cocktail!
I have more inexpensive recipes, such as herbal wraps and fruit Jello, on
