Dining Out At North Texas' Area Event Venues

ARLINGTON (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― The inaugural event at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium also came with a bit of sticker shock for hungry concert fans.

While the food looks good, it's not cheap. A single beer costs $8. A hot dog will run a fan $5.50. Water costs $5.

For a family of four buying 4 beers, 2 sodas, 2 nachos, 4 hot dogs and 2 bottles of water, here's how area venues compare:

Texas Motor Speedway: $62

American Airlines Center: $63.50

Ballpark In Arlington: $71

New Dallas Cowboys Stadium: $95

TMS also allows fans to bring in their own food and beverages.

None of those prices include the cost of admission or parking.
