FW Officials Threaten To Shut Down 17 Hotels

FORT WORTH (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― Buildings that are dilapidated can often drag down a community. Recently, the City of Fort Worth identified 17 hotels as being "bad." Inside those hotels, tenants can find filthy conditions and drug paraphernalia. They're also often havens for crime.

City officials are sending a strong message to the following hotels: Clean up or we'll shut you down.

3. Luxury Motel 2108 E. Lancaster
4. Valley View 2013 E. Lancaster
5. Great Western 1815 E. Lancaster
6. Buena Vista 2911 N. Main

8. Ranch Motel 3620 N. Main
9. Fiesta Inn 3808 N. Main
10. Ace Motel 3105 S Riverside
11. Interstate Motel 5840 South Freeway
12. Drummer's Inn 7312 Camp Bowie West
13. Golden Gate 7516 Camp Bowie West
14. Crest Motel 7600 Camp Bowie West
15. Landmark Motel 7501 Camp Bowie West
16. Best Budget 8401 West I-30
17. Vickery Motel 5636 W. Vickery
