45 Unpaid Tickets Land Irving Woman In Jail

DENTON (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― A 19-year-old Irving woman is in hot water today because of her unpaid traffic tickets.  All $16,000 worth.

Denton Police say early Monday morning they arrested Haley Flint after she fled the scene of an accident along I-35.

When police checked her record, they found out it wasn't the first time she's been in trouble with the law.  Officers say Flint has 45 outstanding tickets from Irving, totaling more than $16,000 in fines.

Records show Flint has been cited for everything from speeding to attempted criminal trespassing.  She's also been cited nine times for driving without a license.
