Arrests Made In Arlington Security Guard Murder

ARLINGTON (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― Arlington police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of a game room security guard.

Ali Aziz was gunned down at the Bida L.A. Game Room in the 2500 block of E. Arkansas Lane on the morning of Sept. 14.

Information from a confidential informant led to the arrests of Chris Lewis Money and Kerry Michael Dronso.

Dronso was arrested Sept. 16 at a hotel in Fort Worth. The 23-year-old is now in the Arlington City Jail charged with capital murder, aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, possession of marijuana, and possession, with intent to manufacture/deliver, of a controlled substance.

Money, 18, was arrested a day later in Grand Prairie and charged with capital murder.

Surveillance video from a nearby game room showed two male suspects who had tried to enter that business but were turned away. The suspects then went to the Bida L.A. Game Room, shot and killed the 41-year-old security guard and robbed customers.

Aziz was married with four small children. CBS 11 News spoke with his wife after the shooting when she said tearfully, "He was a very nice man. I love him too much."

A close friend of Aziz' said the husband and father was a refugee from Iraq who had served in the U.S. Army before being placed on medical leave.
