ID's On 3 High-rise Construction Workers In Austin

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) ― Austin police have identified the three workers who died after falling from a high-rise construction elevator at a condominium complex.

Police on Friday identified the men as 30-year-old Wilson Joel Irias Cerritos from Honduras, 27-year-old Raudel Ramirez Camacho from Mexico and 28-year-old Jesus Angel Lopez Perez from Honduras.

Spokeswoman Lisa Cortinas told The Associated Press that she had no hometowns for the men. Cortinas says the investigation continues into the cause of Wednesday's accident.

Two of the men plunged more than 120 feet to their deaths. The third, who struck a garage overhang on the sixth floor, died later at an Austin hospital.

The construction site is near the University of Texas.
