Missing Elementary Principal Found Safe In Waco

FORT WORTH (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― An elementary school principal who was last seen on his way to work on Monday has been found alive and well in Waco.

Mark Brandenberger was last seen on his way to work on Monday.

Waco station KWTX reports he was found in a Waco bookstore Tuesday afternoon.

Brandenberger lives in Clifton, which is about a 40-45 mile drive from the Blum Elementary campus, where he has served as principal for the past four years.

There's no word yet on where he was between Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon.
