Armored Car Overturns In Colleyville, Two Injured

COLLEYVILLE (CBS 11 News/AP) ―

An armored car wreck in the Fort Worth area left the fortified vehicle upside down and two people hurt.

The Tuesday afternoon accident reportedly injured the driver and another person in the armored car. Details on their injuries were not immediately available.

Chopper 11 was over the scene, near Hall Johnson and Pool Roads, as the driver of the armored vehicle was loaded onto a CareFlight helicopter and transported to Harris Methodist Hospital.

From the air the aromored vehicle could be seen on its roof, with the front end demolished and some nearby trees damaged. No information was immediately available on any cargo the vehicle might have been hauling.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
