Collin County Woman Dies In Overnight House Fire

PRINCETON (CBS 11 News) ― A 54-year-old Collin County woman died late Saturday night after being trapped in her burning home.

The Collin County Sheriff's Office got a call of a house on fire around 10:30 Saturday night.  When firefighters arrived they found fire coming from the bedroom of the home.  Preliminary reports say the family had fallen asleep with a candle still burning.

A neighbor was able to pull 56-year old Steve Doyle from the home, but Doyle's wife, Mary Sue, was unable to get out of the house.
