Reserved Dallas Cowboys Seating Pricing Announced

IRVING (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― The Dallas Cowboys have announced ticket prices for some 50,000 reserved seats in the upper and lower levels of its new stadium in Arlington.

With the new stadium comes a jump in ticket prices. Individual per game ticket prices will range from $59 to $125 for all reserved seats – making the average reserve ticket price $90.19. That's a 6.7-percent increase over the average reserve ticket price at Texas Stadium in Irving.

"We believe we have a ticket plan that provides exceptional opportunities for our fans to be a part of the Dallas Cowboys experience," said Brett Daniels, Director of Client Services for the Dallas Cowboys, in a press release sent out Thursday. "Texas Stadium is sold out for the 2008 season, and every one of those ticket holders will have the right of first refusal on their allocated seats in the new stadium."

Eighty percent of the reserved seats will have seat options giving the owner the right to purchase season tickets for 30 years. Of course that option comes at a price. For these upper and lower level seats fans will have to shell out a one-time fee ranging from $2,000 to $5,000.

Ticket holders will have to make their decision fairly quickly. They'll have until July 11th to decide on their long-term tickets at the new stadium. After that, the Cowboys will offer remaining unclaimed locations to those on the waiting list.

"There is a definite demand for Cowboys game tickets," Daniels said.

Earlier this year the Cowboys announced the pricing of 15,000 club seats. They're priced at $340 a game and the seat options range from $16,000 to $150,000.

The new $1.1 billion Dallas Cowboys stadium is scheduled to open in 2009. When complete the new stadium will have a retractable roof, retractable stadium-end glass doors and the largest stadium video screen in the world.
