Dallas Stars Announce Preseason Schedule

FRISCO (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― The Dallas Stars announced Wednesday that they will open the season against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday, October 10. The Blue Jackets are coached by former Stars Head Coach Ken Hitchcock.

The Dallas Stars will host the New Jersey Devils at the American Airlines Center for the traditional New Year's Eve game on December 31.

The rest of the Stars regular season schedule will be announced Thursday.

The Dallas Stars will open training camp on September 19 at the Dr Pepper StarCenter in Frisco.

The Stars will open the preseason four days later when Dallas travels to St. Louis to take on the Blues on Tuesday, September 23.
