Woman: "I Was Pushed From Moving Car On Tollway"

DALLAS (CBS 11 News) ―

A young North Texas woman, who was pushed out of a moving car onto a busy highway, is alive to tell her story and is looking for the man who did it.

The incident happened early Sunday morning on the northbound Dallas Tollway, near Plano Parkway.

The woman, who does not want to be identified, said she was looking for a ride home and got into the car of a man she had met at Oktoberfest in Addison.

The woman says she became uncomfortable when the driver started making advances and asked that he pull over and let her out. Instead, she said the man pushed her out. "He started touching my leg and I said 'quit' and I wanted to get out and it happened so quickly," the alleged victim explained.

The young woman was left in the middle of the road and could have been hit by an oncoming car, if it weren't for a Good Samaritan. "I remember hitting the pavement and a girl jumped out and said to roll so I don't get hit."

The woman has severe road burn, but is otherwise okay. "I am very lucky to be alive. I'm blessed this is the only thing that happened. I could have died, easily, or something else could have happened," she said thankfully.

While the victim admits she shouldn't have gotten in the car with the man and that she has learned form her mistake, she also hopes to find the person that did this to her, so he can be arrested.
