'Fig' Closes Locations In North Texas

Company Files For Bankruptcy, Leaves Customers Looking For Answers

SOUTHLAKE (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― Patients were promised to look great by next summer, but now their doors are closed.

  The body shaping company "Fig" has filed bankruptcy, with no warning to clients.



Edie McCord was hoping to tighten her tummy, but she didn't want surgery.

"I saw it on T.V. and wanted to try it out."   

So she spend $2,400 at a Fig location in Southlake for a series of shots.  She went for treatments to find they were closed.



"I don't know where to go from here, I don't know who to contact, I've tried calling them and there is no answer" she said.  

We tried calling Fig ourselves during their normal hours of operation, but received their answering machine.



McCord says she wasn't seeing the results she was promised, and she says the injections were extremely painful.  She says she's done looking for a quick fix.
