Greenville High School Wins Robot Competition

ATLANTA (AP) ― A group of North Texas students and their robots are among the winners at an international robotics competition in Georgia. The Robowranglers of Greenville High School were part of the winning alliance at the FIRST Championship at the Georgia Dome. Joining them were two teams from Ontario and Michigan.

They beat out more than 340 robotics teams and 8,600 students competing over the weekend from the U.S., Brazil, Canada, Chile, Israel, Mexico, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Student teams had six weeks to design, build and test their robots from a kit of hundreds of parts.
