Racist Graffiti Spray Painted On Flower Mound Car

FLOWER MOUND (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― Vandals spray-painted gold swastikas and the words "die, ?#*/%, die" on Linda Sifuentes car and she is hoping that someone will be able to help Flower Mound Police find those who did it.

"I don't know if it's somebody that's been watching me and that's currently waiting for an opportunity to carry out their message" Sifuentes said with apprehension.

Next door, her neighbor also had a gold swastika spray-painted on their garage. "I think its kids that don't have something to do," said Antoinette Venter. "I hope it's something like that and not something worse."

Flower Mound Police are investigating the incident as a case of criminal mischief. FMPD Captain Richard Brooks says if detectives uncover information that suggests the case could be a hate crime that information would be passed on to the courts to be used at trial.

As it stands, investigators are tracking down leads and they urge anyone with information to contact Flower Mound police.
