Neighbor Of Stabbed Frisco Woman Calls 911
FRISCO (CBS 11 News) ―
A new 911 tape gives a glimpse into the night a Frisco woman was raped and repeatedly stabbed in her apartment.
After the brutal attack early Tuesday morning, the 25-year-old woman dragged herself to a neighbor's apartment.
The man immediately called police.
The following is parts of the transcribed 911 call:
Caller: Some young girl came to the door, and she's been stabbed and cut.
911 Operator: She's been stabbed and cut?
Caller: That's right.
911 Operator: Is she conscious?
Caller: Yes, she's conscious.
911 Operator: Is she breathing?
Caller: Yes, she's breathing.
Operator: Does she know who did it?
Caller: She says she doesn't. She says they just broke in.
911 Operator: They broke into her apartment and stabbed her. She
Doesn't know who did it?
Caller: No.
911 Operator: Is she still breathing?
Caller: She's still breathing.
911 Operator: ...and she's still conscious?
Caller: She's still conscious.
Police believe the same person who attacked that woman in Frisco may also be responsible for at least 18 other home invasions in six North Texas cities.
Officers from these cities plan to meet next Tuesday to compare evidence.
