N. Texas Police Plan To Compare Evidence On Rapist

FRISCO (CBS 11 News) ― Police are still piecing together clues from this week's rape and stabbing of a Frisco woman.

"We're taking a lot of calls from the public," said Sergeant Gina McFarlin, Frisco Police Department. "Some have come forward to say they heard something that night, some are just concerned and want some advice on what to do, and some are just wanting to confirm the stories that they heard."

The attack in Frisco is linked to a serial rapist who is responsible for at least 19 attacks in North Texas.

Detectives from six different police departments across North Texas plan to meet to discuss the case and compaire evidence next Tuesday.

Frisco police are receiving tips from as far away as Boston and New Jersey, but so far, none have led to a suspect.

The latest victim continues to recover at a local hospital. Police hope she will be able to help them identify the man before he strikes again.
