Hidden Camera Found At Carroll Sr. High School
SOUTHLAKE (CBS 11 News) ―
Students and parents say they are just finding out about a camera found inside a local high school over the summer.
The hidden camera was discovered by contractors at Carroll Senior High School on July 15.
A joint investigation has been launched by Southlake-Carroll ISD and the Southlake Police Department.
Police would not discuss what kinds of images were found due to the investigation. However, they said no images of staff or students were found on the camera.
"At this point, we still don't have finger print results back," said Julie Thannum, a spokesperson for the district. "That takes a little bit more time than what you see on television shows."
When asked if the images could have been downloaded to the internet, Thannum said, "The equipment was not real sophisticated."
Officials say no other cameras were found on any of the other district campuses.
