Historic Fort Worth Lists 'Most Endangered Places'

FORT WORTH (CBS 11 News) ―

Thursday Fort Worth-Historic Fort Worth, Inc. announced its annual list of the city's Most Endangered Places.

Each year, Historic Fort Worth recognizes historic resources that are threatened by a variety of circumstances including deterioration, neglect, vandalism, encroaching development, or lack of financial resources.

The organizations hope their list will call attention the landmarks and encourage owners of properties to take advantage of assistance from Historic Fort Worth in developing tactics to take care of their particular problems. The list is also meant to encourage citizens to work to preserve the 'endangered places' for future generations.
