Hurst Man Killed In Crash, Driver Charged
EULESS (AP) ―
A 32-year-old Hurst man has died in a car accident and Euless police have charged the driver of the vehicle with intoxication manslaughter.
A 2007 BMW had reportedly been traveling in the 1200 block of Bear Creek Parkway early Saturday when it hit a utility pole and slid into a tree.
Police say the passenger died on the scene. His name was not immediately released.
Cody Worrell was treated at a hospital and then taken to the Euless Jail. The 32-year-old was charged with intoxication manslaughter.
An officer at the jail says Worrell left there around 2 p.m. Saturday after posting a $25,000 bond.
