N. Texans Protest Federal Immigration Reform Bill

In Dec. 2005, the House approved legislation to tighten border controls.

The Illegal Immigration Control Act would have made being an undocumented immigrant a felony and would erect a fence along the U.S.- Mexico border.

In response, hundreds of thousands all over the nation marched for immigrant rights.
