DPD Issues Warning For North Texas Tollway Drivers

DALLAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― A warning for drivers on the Dallas North Tollway: Someone is throwing large rocks at cars near the Cedar Springs overpass.

Several cars have been damaged since last Wednesday. The damage so far has not been life threatening.

Teana Bush was cruising north on the Tollway last Thursday when a stone came flying at her front window.

"I saw two kids on the overpass, but I wasn't able to describe them or get any information that would help the police," said Bush.

Dallas Police have increased their street patrol along in the area. Undercover officers are also on the lookout for rock throwers along the bridge.

The Tollway Authority uses cameras, but so far they haven't been able to see anyone throw rocks off the bridge.
