Hurst PD Arrest 1 In Putt-Putt Murder

(CBS 11 News) Hurst police have arrested one man in connection with the shooting death of a miniature golf course manager.

Officers arrested Paul Storey on a capital murder charge Friday night. A magistrate set bond at $500,000.

On Monday, police found Jonas Cherry shot to death inside Putt-Putt Fun Center at Loop 820 and Highway 183 in Hurst, near the Northeast Mall.

In an affidavit, police believe storey and three others robbed the business and one of them shot Cherry execution style.

The victim's father told CBS 11 he is relieved there has been an arrest.

Hurst police still are looking for three other people they believe are involved in the case.
