Run A Red Light, Find A Citation In The Mail

DALLAS (CBS 11 News) ― The City of Dallas' newest red light cameras are up and running this afternoon.

The city recently installed the cameras in an effort to stop people from running red lights. The cameras take a picture of a suspected violator's license plate and send a citation through the mail.

Below is a list of the red light cameras provided by Dallas' Public Works and Transportation department. The lights will be activated and issuing tickets starting January 15.

1. Abrams and Forrest
2. Camp Wisdom and Westmoreland
3. Fitzhugh and Gaston
4. Commerce and Central
5. Miller and Plano
6. Tyler and Jefferson
7. Lemmon and Mockingbird
8. Marsh and Frankford
9. Beckley and Colorado
10. Ferguson and Gus Thomason
