Quarterback Richard Bartel was re-signed Monday to the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad.
Bartel was on the practice squad all last season when the Cowboys kept only quarterbacks Tony Romo and Brad Johnson on their 53-man roster.
The signing of Bartel, a second-year player from Tarleton State, gives the Cowboys a full eight-man practice squad.
Dallas cut Bartel on Saturday. Bartel played the entire game in the Cowboys' final preseason game Thursday night, when he was 28-of-41 passing for 233 yards.
