Nearly 1,100 Pot Plants Seized In Richardson Home

RICHARDSON (CBS 11 News) ― Around 11 a.m. Tuesday, Richardson police were on the scene of what looked like a home that had been broken into.

But instead, they found large amounts of marijuana growing inside a home on the 1200 block of La Mesa Drive.

In all, nearly 1,100 plants were seized.

The home had been turned into a green house specifically for growing marijuana, police say.

Brett Christopher LaChance, 25, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
