Reward Offered To Find Alleged Road Rage Killer
DALLAS (CBS 11 News/ AP) ―
An engineer house-hunting with his family two days after moving back from Britain was killed when another driver pulled alongside their car and fired a bullet through the window, police said.
The man's 9-year-old son and wife, who was driving, were in the car when he was shot in the head Tuesday while they traveled through a construction zone in North Dallas.
The wife told investigators the suspect had been tailgating her car but did not appear to be agitated. "It was unprovoked," Dallas police spokesman Vernon Hale said.
No arrests have been made and police are still searching for the suspect.
Kenneth Woolsey, 41, had arrived from the United Kingdom on Sunday after spending eight years working in Britain, police said. He was an engineer with Raytheon Co. and attended high school in suburban Dallas.
There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the killer.
