2 Teens Stabbed In Case Of Dallas Road Rage
DALLAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ―
Two teenagers were stabbed after getting into a car accident in North Dallas, near the border of Carrollton. Authorities are calling it a case of road rage. The incident happened at the intersection of Trinity Mills Road and Marsh Lane shortly after midnight on Monday.
According to police, it all started with some type of roadway collision. The drivers pulled into the parking lot of a nearby church. That is where anger escalated into assault.
Police have said that a man and a woman were inside one of the cars, a maroon Jeep Cherokee. The other vehicle was carrying two teenage boys, both about 17-years-old. At some point during the altercation, the two boys were stabbed.
The people in the Jeep fled the scene. Police grabbed flashlights and started combing the area in search of evidence that may have been left behind.
The teens managed to get back into their truck and drive to a nearby fast food restaurant, where they used cell phones to call for help.
Both boys were taken by ambulance to Parkland Hospital in Dallas. One is in critical condition, the other is in serious condition. Their names have not been released.
At this point, the suspects are still on the run. Police are hoping that someone witnessed something that will lead them to the people who are responsible for the stabbing.
