CBS 11 will host an open casting call for SURVIVOR in Terrell at Randall Noe Ford, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Prospective "Survivors" will each record a short video which will be submitted to the show producers for consideration. The producers will select contestants based upon the following traits: strong-willed, outgoing, adventurous, physically and mentally adept and adaptability to new environments. Interesting lifestyles, backgrounds and personalities are also important considerations.

Applicants must be:

18 years of age or older at the time of application
United States citizens and must be living in the United States
In excellent physical and mental health
Willing to authorize producers to conduct a background check

Potential contestants should bring a passport-sized photo of themselves and a completed copy of the official application (including the signed Release and Waiver), which can be downloaded from this page.
