One person remains hospitalized after tainted muffins sent 18 school workers to the emergency room.
Police are now looking for the man who dropped the muffins off at Lake Highlands High School.
Of the 18 high school employees only one remains at the hospital for over-night observation. The other victims, who were all treated for the same symptoms, were released.
On Wednesday, all employees returned to school except the 86-year-old teacher who remains hospitalized and one other teacher who took the day off.
Police believe the batch of bad muffins sent the employees to the hospital.
Witnesses say an unidentified man dropped the muffins off just after eight in the morning.
"A young man probably in his late teens, early 20's. We're hoping to have some type of video where we can actually view and possibly recognize this person. We don't know why this person brought them to the school or what the intent was," said Sgt. Gil Cerda, Dallas Police Department.
Teachers, office workers and other high school staff were treated at Presbyterian Hospital for dizziness and nausea. Doctors say there is strong evidence that someone laced the muffins with drugs.
"Clearly they all had the same sort of exposure. They all had the same sort of symptoms that would be highly suspicious of a toxidrome or a toxic exposure of some sort," said Dr. Sean Black, Presbyterian Hospital.
The muffins, along with blood tests, are being analyzed by the Dallas County Health Department. There is speculation that the muffins may have been tainted with marijuana and Benadryl.
Richardson ISD employee Tim Clark says the delivery of food to school employees isn't unusual.
"PTA or members of the community are always bringing food in to share with the teachers. It's always much appreciated. That's why they're trying to track down who brought food in because frequently food appears in the teachers lounge and teachers eat it."
There is security camera video but the Richardson school district says it won't be released until Wednesday at the earliest.
Lab results from the Dallas County Health Department are also expected Wednesday.
